What is NUE Conceal?

NUE Conceal is an innovative form of Cosmetic Tattooing that uses a new colour matching technology to determine the precise pigment of a person’s skin and the combination of tattoo pigments required to recreate the precise skin colour and camouflage scarring. This treatment is ideal for those looking to seamlessly blend scarred areas with their surrounding skin, offering a long-lasting and natural-looking solution.

The two types of NUE Conceal treatments

There are two treatment options for addressing your scarring and stretch marks:

Camouflage – this is the classic NUE Conceal treatment, featuring the innovative colour matching technology and pigment mixing.

Inkless – the unique Inkless treatment doesn’t use any coloured pigment. Instead, a specially formulated serum is tattooed into your scarring which helps reinvigorate the skin, improving elasticity and restoring its colour. Inkless is the preferred treatment option for deep stretch marks that have a physical texture and for those who have a personal preference for not wanting tattooing.

How does NUE Conceal work?

  Step 1 – Consultation: You’ll meet with our specially trained Dermal Therapist to undertake to assess the scarred area. Your skin will be scanned using a handheld device which will use the NUE Conceal technology to colour match your skin with a mixture from the 22 pigment colours (unless using the Inkless treatment). Your Therapist will discuss the process with you, including the number of sessions that she recommends for best results.

Step 2 – LED Light Therapy: We’ll provide two treatment sessions of LED Light Therapy to prepare the skin for the NUE Conceal treatment and maximise results. These sessions must be a minimum of two-days apart.

  Step 3 – Precision Tattooing: Using the unique colour formula that matches your skin pigment (or the Inkless serum), our Dermal Therapist will tattoo over your scarring.

Why is NUE Conceal different to other Cosmetic Tattooing? Every NUE Conceal treatment is tailored to the specific client’s skin colour. The use of innovative technology to determine the colour and the mixture formula ensures that this process is consistent and highly accurate in matching your skin tone. With 22 different pigments that can be used to create the tattoo ink, we’re able to achieve a high level of precision in tailoring the treatment to clients across all skin types.

Is there any downtime? There is minimal downtime from treatments, with most clients able to continue with their routine and lifestyle immediately after a treatment session.

How long is the healing process? Generally we expect your treatment area to take three to six weeks to heal. Darker toned skin can take 10-weeks or longer due to the different levels of melanin in the skin.
