New cosmetic injectables clients at Chrysalis receive a complementary 30-minute consultation before their first treatment. This can be booked as a stand-alone appointment if you’re just wanting to find out more about treatments, or immediately before a treatment time if you know you’re ready to proceed.
Here’s an idea of what you can expect at your complementary injectables consultation:
Why it’s important
During the consultation, our Injectables Nurse – either Joyce or Natalie – will be looking to understand what outcomes you’re hoping to achieve from treatment. Having time to discuss this properly ensures that they can find the right treatment option to get the results you want – and sometimes it’s not the one that our clients come in asking for! It’s also a chance for them to get to know you – aesthetics and skincare are influenced by a variety of lifestyle and health factors, so having a holistic understanding of our client is important.
What you might be asked
Our Injectables Nurse will ask what your specific concerns are and where you would like the treatment. They will also be interested in your overall health and skincare routine. Lifestyle factors such as skincare products, diet and exercise, and time spent in the sun can all affect your skin’s appearance and how concerns can be treated. They will take the time to examine your skin and its characteristics – such as elasticity and where your muscles form natural creases, to better understand how these concerns will evolve and which treatments might work.
Finding the best treatment for our clients
Our complementary consultations are obligation free – if you need more time consider it, or if you decide that the treatment isn’t for you, there is no pressure to continue or to book a future appointment. We are also always honest with clients about how to best address their concerns. This means that sometimes we’ll advise that injectables aren’t the right option.
Creating your treatment plan
Our Injectables Nurse will consider the best options for you and develop a treatment plan. This is then signed off by Dr Mark Vucak, our Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and clinic Director.
Above all, we try to create a relaxed, friendly environment so that you can get to know your Injector and make sure you’re comfortable before proceeding.
If you’re ready to find out whether cosmetic injectables are an option to treat your concerns, contact our clinic to book your complementary consultation with Joyce (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) or Natalie (Fridays).
